Nope...this has nothing to do with moral tests, virtues, or your use of the force. I’m talking about honey 🍯. Many folks don’t know that honey is different at different times of the year. The bee season is largely dictated by flows and dearths. During a nectar flow, everything is in bloom and food for the bees is plentiful. This generally starts early in the spring when the dandelions and clover start coming in and runs into the heart of summer.
The nectar that comes in during the early part of the year is light, sweet, and provides summer bees with the high amount of carbohydrates they need to stay working through the season of bloom.
In a good season things change over after the dearth. At that point we move from summer blooms like dandelion and clover to fall plants like goldenrod and knotweed. This honey, which is darker in color and more complex and flavorful to tase must sustain the bees through the long hard winter to come.
