Happy New Year!

As we say goodbye to 2018, I have to admit it’s bittersweet. It’s been a rough year for both Chris and I. The ladies were difficult (pooch included), our respective day jobs were hard for both of us and in the midst of that, we finished a basement. And by “we” I don’t mean contractors. My dad, uncles, Chris and I put in some elbow grease in and made us a great space to work out, watch movies, and gave Chris the bathroom of his dreams!

We went to Ireland on our delayed honeymoon and to DC, where I spent 10 years, to visit friends. We have done so many things and we have so many things to feel blessed about. We also have gotten rid of some of the bad.  Chris has lightened his schedule with work a lot so he can tend to the hives (and our pooch) more frequently. I have kept crafting products for an online store like t-shirts, puppy paw balm, lip balms and sugar scrubs, coming soon.

All in all, a productive year. But looking forward to 2019, we are resolving to add more family time, lots more hiking, a sister for Lucy and a split for our hives.  Alas, we can’t just leave it to chance, we’ll need to get in there and make it all happen.

We’d love to hear what your resolutions for 2019 are!

Thanks for listening to me buzz!
